Difficult to prepare for, unpredictable and overwhelming, being a parent can bring on intense feelings of guilt, self-doubt, frustration and/or anger. And just when you think you’ve got a handle on a stage (and that it is just a stage), something else crops up and it feels like you’re starting all over again. My parent coaching sessions are completely customizable to your needs as well as the issues at hand. If it’s a specific behaviour, I can provide context, guide you through the developmental stage and explore strategies for dealing with the problem. For more generalized parenting assistance, I’ll provide support, encouragement, advice and solutions. I’m here for you.
